JOHNSON CITY, TENN. - Earlier this month, Eastern Eight welcomed Aaron Magnuson to the organizational family.

Magnuson joins E8 staff as a construction manager, temporarily overseeing rehabilitation construction. Magnuson will also play an integral part in readying E8's new office on E. Watauga Ave.

The 35-year-old husband and father of one has a background in construction. He's excited to do as much as he can to further E8's mission of providing affordable housing for Northeast Tennessee. "I'm learning everything I can," Magnuson said after a couple of weeks on the job. "It's a process, but I'm definitely getting there."

Eastern Eight Executive Director Retha Patton is impressed with Magnuson’s work so far. "We're very pleased to have Aaron on board," she said. "I believe his eagerness and enthusiasm will lead him to accomplish great things at Eastern Eight."

Magnuson will serve as rehabilitation construction manager until an unspecified time, when he shall take over other duties at Eastern Eight.
